- 1 tsp Baking powder
- 1/2 tsp Salt
- 3/4 cup Buttermilk
- 1/2 cup Vegetable oil
- 2 tbsp Lard or vegetable shortening
- 1/2 cup Cheddar cheese, shredded
- 1/4 cup Canned cream-style corn

Step 1: In a large bowl, whisk together flour, cornmeal, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
